The entrance to Lake Wateree’s Plantation Pointe subdivision is flanked on each side of its private roadway with a large flowing stone wall. Most of its homes cannot be seen from the roadway as the acreage lots range from 2 to over 20 acres. Because of the large lot sizes and the fact that some of Plantation Pointe’s residents own a tractor, some owners lovingly refer to their homestead as “the farm”.
Plantation Pointe still has room to build as more than half of the lots are yet to have a home. Originally designed for 18 lots on over 200+ acres, Plantation Pointe has now grown to 32 lots as most original owners were allowed to subdivide their property once.
